Barry Pomeroy joined Octapharma Plasma Inc. in 2009. Barry ensures the development and performance of Octapharma Plasma’s corporate financial management strategy, including fiscal policies and procedures that contribute to the organization’s overall financial health. He has full leadership of Octapharma Plasma’s economic mission and supervises all legal matters to ensure compliance.
Tom Hewitt joined Octapharma Plasma in 2021 and heads the newly-formed Corporate Services Department. He has over 25 years of business expertise in a variety of functions and industries. Tom is responsible for overseeing marketing, human resources, learning & development, and internal and external communications for OPI.
Bill Griner joined Octapharma Plasma in 2008, and has more than 26 years of plasma industry experience. Bill is responsible for business optimization heading the Business Applications department driving process and technical innovations, and quality and cost management strategies. Bill also heads the Business Analytics group supporting continued growth and improvement within the organization using a data driven approach to organization decision making.
Philip Coogler – Philip Coogler joined Octapharma Plasma in 2007 and leads Finance alongside VP, Barry Pomeroy. He has over 35 years in account and finance experience. Philip is at the forefront of ensuring timely and accurate reporting of the company’s financial position and safeguarding company assets and financial planning/budgeting to help develop the company’s growth.
Carole Michelson has worked in the plasma industry for more than 30 years. She brought her extensive experience to Octapharma Plasma in 2008. Carole leads the company’s new center development processes from site selections all the way to fully operational facilities. She also manages high-complexity projects including the implementation of new or augmented procedures for all U.S. centers.
Monica Byrd joined Octapharma Plasma Inc. in 2010 with more than 20 years of experience in quality management and laboratory operations in blood and plasma industries. Monica directs Octapharma Plasma’s development, continuous improvement, and quality control processes. She ensures the company meets applicable customer, state, federal and international regulatory requirements.
Andra Jones joined Octapharma Plasma in 2007 and has more than 20 years of plasma industry experience. Andra leads U.S. plasma collection operations and drives operational efficiencies including process improvements, technical innovations, quality, and cost management.
Travis Jansen joined Octapharma Plasma in 2008 and has more than 16 years of plasma industry experience. Travis leads U.S. plasma collection operations and drives operational efficiencies including process improvements, technical innovations, quality, and cost management.
Jason Hancock joined Octapharma Plasma in 2014 and has 20 years of technology experience with a background in IT infrastructure across diverse industries. Jason leads the IT team for Octapharma Plasma that provides the technical support, infrastructure services, and application development for the organization and drives our technical innovation.
Bre Byrne joined Octapharma Plasma in 2021 and leads Marketing and Donor Experience. She has almost 20 years of marketing experience across a broad range of industries. Bre is responsible for marketing strategy, brand management, digital marketing, media, and donor loyalty and experience.
Darrell Fincher-Crusan joined Octapharma Plasma in 2023 and leads Human Resources. He has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, Operations, Finance and Risk Management. Darrell is responsible for HR business partners, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, HRIS and learning and development.
